Our neighborhood trash pick-up day will not change with the new trash company merger happening. Our HOA Assessment Dues include regular trash service weekly.
To set up personal recycling service - call any company directly for that service. Recycling is not included in your yearly HOA fees.

As an FYI, here is what our trash company says:
HOLIDAYS *THE ONLY HOLIDAYS WE DO NOT COLLECT TRASH AND RECYCLING ARE NEW YEARS DAY, THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS.IF ANY OF THOSE HOLIDAYS FALLS ON A WEEK DAY, ALL ROUTES WILL BE DELAYED ONE DAY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THAT WEEK.IF ANY OF THOSE HOLIDAYS FALLS ON THE WEEKEND IT DOES NOT AFFECT OUR SCHEDULE AT ALL.THE PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED HOLIDAYS ARE THE ONLY ONES WE CLOSE FOR. ALL OTHER HOLIDAYS WE RUN ON A NORMAL SCHEDULE
INCLEMENT WEATHER * THERE WILL BE TIMES THAT THE WEATHER WILL FORCE US TO SUSPEND OR CANCEL COLLECTION FOR THE DAY. WE CANNOT CONTROL THESE ACTS OF NATURE BUT ALWAYS TRY OUR BEST TO PERFORM OUR DUTIES SAFELY. IN THE EVENT THAT WE MUST CANCEL OR SUSPEND COLLECTION ON A ROUTE DAY, PLEASE LEAVE ALL CARTS AT THE CURB SO IT DOES NOT DELAY COLLECTION ANY FURTHER WHEN WE RESUME SERVICE

VERY IMPORTANT!!!
COMMONS AREAS NEED TO BE DRY SO THAT THEY CAN BE MOWED
Please be aware of the day that the mowers come and adjust your watering schedule. IF IT RAINS and your property is next to a commons area then PLEASE do NOT water your lawn on mow days.
PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT AND CHECK YOUR SPRINKLER SPRAY RADIUS TO BE SURE YOU ARE NOT FLOODING ANY COMMONS AREAS :)
OUR LAWN CARE COMPANY
CAN'T MOW IF YOU RUN YOUR SPRINKLER AND THE COMMONS AREA IS TOO WET
Let's try to remember to set our sprinklers
to run on days when the Lawncare guys
aren't coming :)
When this crazy Kansas weather dumps some rain on us: PLEASE turn off your sprinklers!
THANK YOU!!

We try to mail out a community newsletter every quarter so that you can see current happenings in our neighborhood.
The most recent newsletter has announcements such as:
BULK TRASH PICK UP DAY
Including all of the guidelines and instructions for getting bulk trash picked up in our area. Each year we try to schedule a day for us to gather up unwanted items that are too big to dispose of in the trash bins. This helps each of us from having to find the means to get these items disposed of properly and without too much hassle.
POOL OPENING DATE
Each year we post the pool opening date, the pool rules, and the closing date so that you are aware of what's happening. Our pool is PRIVATE and ONLY for our current residents: if you share your pool code with someone other than immediate family you could lose your pool privileges.
NEIGHBORHOOD COMMITTEES
We have several committees that help our neighborhood immensely! These are homeowners who have committed to helping our neighborhood look nice and run smooth. Beyond the committee people are neighbors who ALWAYS chip in to help with many things but aren't named and we also THANK them for this!
PLEASE DON'T POST SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY NEEDS TO BE SENT TO THE BOARD FOR THEIR ATTENTION AND RESPONSE!
